토익 단골출제 전치사를 정리하면서 

기출 포인트를 알아보려고 합니다! 

 

 

1. 시간 전치사 in / at / on 

At : at 4'o clock / at noon / at night / at present 

On : on Monday / on August 30th  / on Christmas day /  On Tuesday morning 

In : in September / in summer/in 2020 / in the second qarter / in the morning

 

* 보통 at < on  < in  순서로 시간 텀이 길어짐 

* 특정한 날의 아침/점심/저녁엔 'on'을 사용 

 

 

2. 장소 전치사 in / at / on 

At (지점/장소) :  at home/ork / at the meeting / at the stop / at the conference

On(표면/전파) : oh the table / on the second floor / on Tv / on the Internet 

In(공간) : in + 도시/국가 / in Seoul / in a box / in the shop

 

 

in  관련 필수 숙어 

in demand : 수요가 있는 

in advance : 사전에 

in writing : 서면으로 

in detail : 상세하게 

in a row : 줄을 서서 

in bulk : 대량으로 

 

 

3. 이유, 양보, 목적을 나타내는 전치사 

의미 

전치사 : because of, due to, on acount of, owing to 

접속사 : because, since, as, not that 

 

양보

전치사 :  despite, in spite of, notwithstanding 

접속사 :  although, though 

 

목적 

전치사 : for 

접속사 : in order that 

 

 

4. 제외를 나타내는 전치사 

의미 ~를 제외하고 

전치사 : Except(for), excepting, apart from, aside from, excluding

예문) I cleaned all the rooms, excpet the guest room.

 

의미 ~이 없다면 

전치사 : Barring, without, but for

예문) Barring any unexpected problems, ~
