사용 형태 

관계대명사(주어) + 동사, 

관계부사 + 주어 + 동사의 형태로 이루어짐 

역할

선행사를 꾸며주며 문장에서 형용사적 역할

용법 

1) 한정적 용법 : 선행사의 의미를 한정 

ex) She is the one (who) I saw in the library print.

2) 계속적 용법 : 선행사의 부가정보를 제시 

ex) Hunter, who is riding a scooter, is my boyfriend.

 

 

관계부사절 

when, where, how, why 

용법 

1) the time/day 등 (시간) + when : ~하는 때/날 등 

ex) The time when I worked as a designer was a few years ago.

 

2) the place 등 (장소) + where : ~하는 장소 등 

ex) The museum where we saw Korean paintings has closed down.

 

3) the reason (이유) + why : ~하는 이유 

ex) That's the reason why I hate fishing.
