비교구문 as~as를 공부해보려고 합니다!

원급/동등 비교 

두 대상이 동등 

 

1. ~만큼 ~하다 

as + 형용사/부사 + as

ex) Ellie is as clever as you.

2. ~만큼 많다/적다 

as + many/much/few/little 명사 + as

ex) He made twice as many mistakes as his opponent.

3. ~와 같다 

the same + as 

ex) I think the same as you do about this.

 

 

비교급 비교 

두 대상 중 하나가 우월 

 

1. ~보다 ~하다 

형용사/부사의 비교급 + than 

ex) William is taller than Donna.

2. ~보다 많다/적다

more/fewer/less + 명사 + than 

ex) Smokers are more likely to develop lung cancer than non-smokers.

3. 형용사/부사의 비교급 강조 표현 

much, even, still, far, a lot, by far

ex) Amy is more honest than kid.

 

 

최상급 비교 

셋 이상의 대상 중 하나가 가장 우월 

 

1. ~중에 가장 ~하다 

최상급 + of ~/in~/that 절 

ex) The Mississippi is the longest of all the rivers in the United States.

2. the/소유격 + [최상급+명사]

ex) I considered this painting my most important work.

3. 형용사/부사의 최상급 강조 표현 

by far, quite, very, even 

ex) The taste of our food is by far the best.

 

비교급 표현 

other thatn : ~외에 

rather than : ~보다는 

for a later time : 다음을 위해 

no longer : 더 이상 ~아닌 

no later than : 늦어도 ~까지는 

no sooner ~ than : ~하자마자 ~하다
